From Rogue One to A New Hope

This blog has been a bit lonely these last years. Meaning that I have not been giving it enough love. I can only see now that I have failed to post two of my most important Sandtrooper/father events... my daughters first EVA foam Sandtrooper armor, and just this summer, her real ABS armor.

I will post about that hopefully soon. But in the mean time, I wanted to share this.

Since the release of Rogue One (R1), I have seen some video edits trying to make its ending fit the beginning of A New Hope. I most cases it looks, well, fan made, if not poorly done. So I gave it a try and make my own cut. Trying to make it flow, not just meet in the middle.

Mixing a bit of the score, editing out some scenes that just are not giving much to the flow, and making it work drama wise, if only for this few minutes.

I know this would never work as a full +4 hours edit, but only works as a cool off movie off saga bridge between both movies. But it is, nevertheless, interesting and even exciting to see this. The main thing in this edit that, imho, makes it jump even now, are the dialogues of 3PO. But, well, that I left there to keep the pase of the first sequence on ANH.
